Our mission is simple: to ensure every child has the chance to grow up safely around water. Since our first “Sunshine Kids” entered the water in February 2021, we have worked tirelessly to turn Darcey’s legacy into a shield for thousands of children.
- 1,000+ Sunshine Graduates Over a thousand children have now successfully completed our intensive survival swimming program, mastering the life-saving “Roll-to-Float” technique.
- 7,000+ Safety Ambassadors Through classroom presentations and community swimming galas, we have empowered over 7,000 students with the knowledge they need to stay safe and alert around water.
- A Family-First Approach We don’t just teach the child; we empower the home. By providing parents and caregivers with basic CPR training and water safety education, we ensure that active adult supervision is the first—and strongest—barrier against drowning.
